Job summary

The technician will handle prescription processing, data entry, stock maintenance, and clerical duties, with a Monday–Friday day shift and weekend rotation to cover service hours.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in British Columbia.
• Verifies prescriptions for completeness and authenticity.
• Handles medication orders and prepares/compounds prescriptions.
• Maintains Pharmacy information system records and stock.

Responsibilities

• Processes medication orders that are reviewed by a Pharmacist.
• Receives and verifies prescriptions for completeness and authenticity.
• Prepares, processes and compounds prescriptions.
• Maintains stock levels and performs clerical duties.
• Enters and ensures drug information in the Pharmacy system.
