Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Laval, QC is seeking a pharmacy operations specialist to support pharmacists and ensure the safe, efficient delivery of drug care in daily laboratory and clinical activities.

You will collaborate with team members, manage inventory and warehousing, participate in device maintenance where needed, and contribute to training for pharmacy assistants. The role emphasizes a friendly, flexible workplace and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out activities to optimize and ensure safety of the drug supply chain.
• Support pharmacists' clinical work by performing pharmacy care tasks on request.
• Provide administrative and operational support.
• Coordinate all laboratory technical activities.
• Manage inventory, warehousing, and optimization.
• Some PJCs: maintain devices like robots.
• Provide technical training for pharmacy assistants (ATPs).

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to carry out activities related to the optimization and safety of the drug circuit;
• support the clinical work of pharmacists by performing various tasks related to pharmacy care and services at their request;
• providing administrative and operational support;
• ensure the coordination of all technical activities of the laboratory;
• manage inventory management, warehousing and optimization;
• in some PJCs to be responsible for the maintenance of devices such as robots;
• provide technical training for pharmacy technical assistants (ATPs).
