Proxim Sylvia Abdalla in Montreal is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technical Assistant (PTA) to join a friendly team and support pharmacists in dispensing medications and serving patients with care. You will help with inventory, data entry, and daily operations in a neighborhood pharmacy that values teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technical Assistance or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting is an asset.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software.
• Good command of spoken French and English.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Independence, reliability and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under the pharmacist’s supervision.
• Welcome patients and gather the information needed to properly address their questions.
• Perform administrative tasks related to patient file management and data entry.
• Maintain medication inventory and manage stock levels.
• Assist with ordering and receiving medications.
• Ensure the pharmacy laboratory operates smoothly and remains clean and organized.
