Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Montreal is seeking a pharmacy assistant to be the friendly first contact for customers and to help gather data for prescription preparation. You will assist in preparing prescriptions, may assemble pillboxes, and keep the laboratory clean to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach, with training provided and a flexible, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset.
• We offer full paid training.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use.
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele.
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes.
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.
