Job summary

Wal-Mart Pharmacy (B.C.) is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacist in prescription filling and administrative tasks, delivering superior customer service. You will participate in all pharmacy operations as a team player and ensure compliance with provincial regulations.

Responsibilities include receiving and verifying prescriptions, data entry, price checks, labeling, inventory control, and OTC/cashier duties under supervision. This role emphasizes accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions from patients and assess completeness per regulatory requirements.
• Perform data entry, price checks, and patient information updates as directed by the Pharmacist.
• Assist in filling prescriptions under the Pharmacist's supervision, including labeling and preparing products.
• Maintain inventory, stock levels, check for expired meds, and organize Will Call and returns.
• Assist with OTC operations and cashier duties as assigned by OTC Manager and/or Pharmacist.
