Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Ontario is seeking a pharmacy operations assistant to support daily tasks across our pharmacy network. You will generate automation reports with HealthWATCH, manage inventory, place orders, and assist with order fulfillment and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Generate automation reports via HealthWATCH pharmacy management software.
• Inventory and maintain pharmacy stock to pre-specified minimum levels.
• Place orders for and manage stock of pharmacy supplies or specialty items.
• Assist with inventory pre-count preparation and vendors on count days.
• Process drug recalls and identify alternatives when products are unavailable.
• Prepare packages for shipment following a step-by-step workflow.
• Troubleshoot orders to ensure on-time shipping.
• Prepare medication orders for patients and label products.
• Prepare blister packs and mixtures and use HealthWATCH for labeling.

What you’ll do:

• Generate automation reports via HealthWATCH pharmacy management software
• Inventory
• Maintain inventory at pharmacy to pre-specified minimum stock levels.
• Place orders for and maintain stock levels of pharmacy supplies or specialty items when needed
• Perform inventory pre-count preparation and assist inventory count vendors on inventory count days
• Action drug recalls and help obtain alternatives when products are unavailable
• Shipping
• Follow a step by step workflow process to prepare packages for shipment
• Investigate and trouble shoot orders to have them shipped on time
• Prescription Filling
• Follow a step by step workflow process to prepare medication orders for patients
• Label medication and over the counter products, prepare medication blister packs, and mixtures
• Use HealthWATCH software in preparing and labelling prescriptions
