What you'll do:
  • Process prescriptions using Healthwatch software, including data entry and third-party billing
  • Prepare and label prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient medication profiles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist with OTC product selection.
  • Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Pharmacy.
  • Manage workflow to meet workflow targets and schedules
  • Maintain inventory at pharmacy to pre-specified minimum stock levels.
  • Place orders using MMS and maintain stock levels of pharmacy supplies or specialty items when needed
  • Follow a step by step workflow process to prepare medication orders for patients
  • Label medication and over the counter products, prepare medication blister packs
  • Use Healthwatch software in preparing and labelling prescriptions
  • Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Pharmacy / PharmD program
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
  • Completion of Injection and Immunization Certification (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
