Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario (St. Thomas) is seeking a pharmacist to join a locally owned and operated store delivering health, beauty and convenience services to the community.

Responsibilities include checking prescriptions for accuracy, counseling on medications, OTC guidance, health management and collaboration with the pharmacy team. The role requires a Bachelor of Pharmacy and licensure in Ontario, strong English communication, excellent customer service, and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and licensure to practice in the province.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a commitment to customer service.
• Ability to counsel patients and manage health-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Check prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Counsel on prescription medications and OTC products.
• Provide health management counseling and wellness advice.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Technician/Assistant to dispense medications.
• Participate in SDM programs and adapt to evolving services.
• Support store operations and patient care in the community.
