Job description
Overview

Pharmacy Manager Are you looking for a retail opportunity where you’ll be more than just a nametag to customers? A place where you’ll get the chance to know, help, and catch up with familiar faces every day? If so, we are the place for you. We provide a variety of pharmacy services like pharmacy services, diabetes management, heart health management, asthma / COPD management, women’s health, general health and wellness, medication management, community health resources, injection / travel health, and more. Now we’re looking to add a new member to our team and continue the tradition of exceptional, personal service that we’re known for. That’s where you come in. As our new Pharmacy Manager, your role will be to oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy. Whether you’re overseeing our store managers, staff, and pharmacy techs, building our strategic initiatives, or working with patients, you’ll need to bring a strong sense of organization, purpose, and caring to every task. You will need to be comfortable dealing with a range of patients including those with mental health challenges. Another big part of your role will be dealing with support staff, physicians and various government agencies. Most importantly, you’ll bring strong leadership skills to the role, and ensure that everyone is pulling in the same direction. You’ll be driving sales, discovering new opportunities, and have a sense of how our business is doing and why. Working together with your store management team, you’ll set strategies, oversee the execution, and help us grow even further. And as an experienced pharmacist, you’ll bring a compassionate, patient first focus to everything you do. Ideally, you will also bring good background knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding – we pride ourselves on offering the best solutions for our patient’s needs, and your experience in this area will be a key skill. You should also be community minded – whether we’re supporting local events, volunteering in the community, or simply getting to know everyone one on a first-name basis, community is at the heart of what we do, and it should be for you too. You’ll be great at this role if you’ve got the following qualities in spades:

  • Independence – you know what needs to be done and don’t need (or want!) someone always looking over your shoulder.
  • Dependability – you can be counted on to make the right decision whether you have time to weigh the options or not.
  • Entrepreneurialism – you have a growth mindset, and excited to find new and creative ways to help grow the business.
  • Foresight – you know how to get from point A to point B, and how to execute a good plan whether you’re improving on sales targets or addressing logistical issues.
  • Patient Centricity – the needs of your patients are the highest priority, and you always seek to serve them in a way that best suits their individual lifestyle and medical requirements.
Responsibilities

Working with Us This is a full-time, permanent position. Because this is a management role, you’ll need be comfortable with working beyond the typical 9:00am-6:00pm to meet the needs of the business. Between our appreciative, multi-generational, client base, and the great group of staff, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
