Job summary

Atlantic Superstore, part of Loblaw Companies Limited, is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant in Fredericton, NB. You will greet patients, confirm prescription details, enter data, assist with third-party adjudication, and support accurate dispensing under supervision.

You should have strong organizational and communication skills, experience in customer service, and comfortable with varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The role includes inventory control and OTC assistance.

In This Exciting Role You Will Be Responsible For

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information
• Third Party adjudication (if necessary)
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up
