Sobeys Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to join our team and deliver patient-centered care. You will contribute to exceptional service while handling prescription assembly, data entry, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, refills, and deliveries, with opportunities to participate in compounding and medication reviews. A Pharmacy Assistant Diploma is preferred, and prior pharmacy experience is an asset.

• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Here’s Where You’ll Have An Impact

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

What You Bring To The Table

• Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
