Loblaw's Real Canadian Superstore in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and patient care. You will greet patients, verify prescription information, and enter data accurately.

You will handle OTC inquiries, stock management, and assist Pharmacist; flexibility for days, evenings, nights and weekends, with a focus on customer service and error-free data entry.

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patient and confirm accuracy of prescription information before filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third party adjudication if necessary.
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Maintain pharmacy stock via inventory control systems.
• Handle general OTC enquiries and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Manage customer prescription pickup.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information
• Third Party adjudication (if necessary)
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :
