Sobeys is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Canadian pharmacy team. You will support prescription assembly, data entry, and customer interactions while ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

The role emphasizes community care within a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Ideal candidates bring a Pharmacy Assistant Diploma and strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and deliver friendly, professional service.

• Pharmacy assistant diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to multi-task and work independently in a busy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions and dispense prescriptions.
• Handle refill requests and deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
• Maintain filing, supplies, and stock levels.
• Support clinical services such as medication reviews.

Here’s Where You’ll Have An Impact

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

What You Bring To The Table

• Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
