You will work closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred
• Effective organizational skills, ability to multi task

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and gather prescription information per Standards
• Assist pharmacist with prescription preparation and workflow
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage accounts
• Answer phone and refer to a pharmacist when necessary
• File documentation per Pharmacy Standards of Practice
• Assist with data entry for new prescriptions and refill requests
• Maintain cash handling and privacy requirements
