Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Ontario is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who can fill prescriptions efficiently, prepare compounds, package blister packs, and deliver completed products on schedule. Responsibilities

• Fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow.
• Prepare compounds, mixtures and temperature controlled items.
• Package blister pack medications.
• Deliver completed product based on schedules.
• Ensure appropriate follow up on minor issues.
• Synchronize and collaborate with other departments.
• Maintain organization of work station and inventory shelves.
• Maintain appropriate supplies and materials.
• Some involvement in prescription information management.
• Recognize liability on outcomes of service provided.
• Promote a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.

Job description
