Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd in Ottawa is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists with prescription preparation, packaging and distribution.

You will input prescriptions into the computer system, monitor inventory for expiry dates, assist with cashier duties, and help maintain a warm, community-focused pharmacy environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• This is role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.

Ideal Shifts - Flexible

9:30am-6pm (Monday - Friday) 2-3 shift a week

9am-4pm (Saturday) - Occasionally
