Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Department Manager to coordinate policies, direct all aspects of laboratory management, ensure prescription verification, and provide expert advice to clients.

The successful candidate will hold a PharmD and a valid license, have management experience, and be prepared to work 35+ hours per week in a collaborative environment with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Doctorate and valid license to practice required.
• Management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the policies, orientations, and objectives of the department.
• Plan, direct, and administer all aspects of laboratory management including financial, material, human, and operational aspects.
• Ensure prescription verification and pharmacological file analysis.
• Respond to customers' needs by providing appropriate advice.
• Monitor drug therapy.
• Follow up with clients.
