Job summary

Metro is seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time contract to October 2027 at our North York location. You will provide direct patient care, dispense, counsel patients, and support the Pharmacy Manager with operations, ensuring service excellence and compliance.

This role requires a B.Sc.Pharm, Ontario licensure, injection and smoking cessation certifications, and proficiency with pharmacy software (Kroll) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and Ontario licensure required.
• Injection and Smoking Cessation certifications.
• Registered with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Proficient with PC systems and pharmacy software.
• Strong communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and counseling.
• Dispense medications and satisfy dispensary orders.
• Supervise the pharmacy department in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure compliance with store hours, recalls, and shrink management.
• Support Pharmacy Manager with paperwork and inventory management.
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain high service standards.
