Job summary

Wal-Mart Pharmacy (B.C.) in Penticton is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of operations and deliver patient care tailored to each individual during consultations.

You will accept prescriptions, counsel patients, ensure safe dispensing, maintain privacy, and uphold Walmart SOPs while supporting service quality and access to medications at the store.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required.
• Age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Manager in operations and patient care.
• Accept prescriptions and refills from customers, doctors or hospitals.
• Ensure accurate, safe and efficient dispensing and counsel patients.
• Maintain proper storage of pharmaceutical products and comply with SOPs.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and protect patient privacy according to provincial regulations.
