Shoppers Drug Mart in Alberta is hiring a Pharmacist to join a locally owned and operated store that delivers health, beauty and convenience services to the community. You will check prescriptions for accuracy, counsel patients on medications and participate in SDM programs to support safe, effective care.

This role requires a Bachelor of Pharmacy, provincial licensure, excellent communication in English (French in some areas) and strong computer skills, with a commitment to outstanding customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed to practice in the province seeking employment.
• Strong verbal and written English; French in some areas.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Checking prescriptions for accuracy
• Counseling on prescription medications
• OTC counseling
• Health management consulting
• Participation in SDM programs as required
• Collaboration with the Pharmacy Technician/Assistant to dispense medications
