Sobeys Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to provide exceptional customer service while completing essential training to become a licensed Pharmacist. You will gain progressive learning in pharmacy operations, administration, customer care, Profile programs and professional services.

You will contribute to employee and customer engagement and support a team focused on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professional pharmacy activities appropriate to level of education.
• Prescription Assembly – Data Entry
• Process Customer Transactions, Receive and Release Prescriptions
• Answer Phones
• Promotion of all Profile Programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing Prescriptions, Ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Other duties as assigned

The Pharmacy Intern is responsible to provide superior customer service while completing the essential training to become a licensed Pharmacist.
