A health care organization in Bonnyville, Alberta, is hiring a Pharmacist I to provide safe and efficient pharmaceutical services. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a Pharmacy program with an active license from the Alberta College of Pharmacists. Experience with chemotherapy and hospital settings is preferred. The Pharmacist I is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. The Pharmacist I manages medication therapy by assessing patients for potential and actual drug related problems and intervening as required to optimize patient outcomes. This position is non-unionized.
Graduate of a Pharmacy program or recognized equivalent required. Active license with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) required. Successful applicants will be required to attain additional prescribing authorization within 18 months of date of hire as a condition of employment.

Experience with chemotherapy provision. Previous hospital experience and familiarity with Connect Care.
