Overview

Super Thrifty Pharmacy The Pas is looking for Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The Pas is located 630 km north of Winnipeg. Known as "The Gateway to the North", The Pas is a multi-industry northern Manitoba town serving the surrounding region and also situated 20 km away from Clearwater Provincial Park.

Responsibilities

• Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements, provincial Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and Policies, demonstrating professional integrity and upholding a high standard of professional practice.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions, over the counter/behind the counter products and all health related issues, including indications, contra-indications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage.
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans.
• Maintain superior customer relations and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as Pharmacist in Manitoba.
• Authorized to give injections, manage self-limiting conditions, and smoking cessation prescribing or willing to complete.
