Job summary

Two Pharmacy in Cochrane, Alberta, is seeking a caring, community-minded pharmacist to join our team. We offer flexible scheduling and a strong emphasis on patient care and service excellence. You will be part of a local health hub that values connection and impact.

The role includes dispensing, vaccinations, minor ailment care, and participation in compounding and clinical services, with a 1 in 8 weekend rotation. 2-3 or 4-5 days per week options available.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with Alberta license in good standing.
• Injection certification is required.
• APA (Additional Prescribing Authorization) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and counsel on prescriptions with accuracy and empathy.
• Provide minor ailment assessments and prescribing services.
• Administer vaccinations and injections.
• Offer over-the-counter recommendations and patient education.
• Participate in compounding and clinical services.
• Contribute to a teamwork-focused customer service environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispense and counsel on prescriptions with accuracy and empathy

• Administer vaccinations and injections
• Offer over-the-counter recommendations and patient education
• Participate in compounding and clinical services
• Contribute to an environment of teamwork and excellence in customer service

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Injection Certification required
• Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Kroll software
