Job summary

Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a temporary full-time pharmacist to provide clinical coverage across multiple clinical areas. There are no requirements for overnight or on-call shifts for pharmacists at BCHS.

The successful candidate will contribute to safe medication use, participate in a team-based clinical environment, and maintain up-to-date pharmacotherapy knowledge through continuing education. Ontario-licensed pharmacists with hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree.
• Licensed (Part A) Pharmacist in the Province of Ontario.
• Experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment preferred.

Job description

Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy Services, the temporary full-time pharmacist will provide clinical coverage to a variety of clinical areas. There are no requirements for overnight or on-call shifts for pharmacists at the Brant Community Healthcare System.

Primary Responsibilities

Safety (patient, worker & workplace) is a BCHS Corporate Priority. The successful applicant will demonstrate good stewardship in the identification, reporting and mitigation of unsafe acts or conditions.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree.
• Licensed (Part A) Pharmacist in the Province of Ontario
• Experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment preferred
