Job summary

BIOVECTRA, now a part of Agilent, is a leader in contract development and manufacturing for APIs, with sites in Windsor, NS and Charlottetown, PEI. The successful candidate will operate and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC, and PLC systems on rotating 12-hour shifts, two weeks days and two weeks nights, within AMPD to support advanced manufacturing.

Relocation to Charlottetown is required. Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate and 1–3 years’ relevant experience are required; 3rd Class

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines.
• Millwright, Electrical, Electro-mechanical or plumbing training.
• CMMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining boilers, chillers, HVAC systems.
• Monitoring and controlling all systems for safe, efficient operations.
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintaining logs of system operations and repairs.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with maintenance, production and engineering teams.
• Responding to alarms and system failures.
• Assisting with equipment upgrades and installations.
