Job summary

ProPharma in Canada is seeking a Medical Information Specialist to provide accurate medical and safety information for pharmaceutical clients via phone, email, and written correspondence.

You will document adverse events and ensure regulatory compliance, following SOPs and client practices. The role includes logging inquiries, maintaining data quality, and contributing to post-market surveillance as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required with strong knowledge of medical terminology and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and safety information via phone, email, or mail.
• Provide labeled and unlabeled information in compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Identify, document and report adverse events and product complaints per government rules.
• Log inquiries accurately in the inquiry handling system and meet deadlines.
• Support quality checks on adverse events and complaints; participate in after-hours coverage.
