BGIS is seeking a Petroleum Service Technician to maintain and repair pumping equipment, electrical systems, and fuel management for retail sites, transit services, and public works. The role involves traveling to client sites and performing routine service calls, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to diagnose mechanical problems quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain petroleum equipment and systems essential to site operations.
  • Repair and maintain leak detection systems.
  • Maintain professionalism and portray the company positively.
  • Exercise independent judgment to solve unusual problems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to foster repeat business.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Petroleum Service Technician will specialize in the maintenance and repair of pumping equipment, electrical, fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

Summary

The Petroleum Service Technician will specialize in the maintenance and repair of pumping equipment, electrical, fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operation;
  • Repair and maintain leak detection systems
  • Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner always
  • Exercise considerable independent judgment in solving unusual work problems.
  • Help maintain strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with our existing and new clients that will ensure repeat business and free flowing referrals and focuses on client relationships to grow and maintain core client base.
  • Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks at a time
  • Scheduling Involves being part of an on-call 24/7 rotation
