This role requires physical capability to lift heavy products and work in various weather conditions. Employment offers a starting schedule from Monday to Friday.
South Country Co-op is hiring a Petroleum Driver (Class 1) at our Agro centre location in Cypress County, Alberta.
Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, the Petroleum Driver (Class 1) is responsible for delivering world‑class customer service, operating tandem or tridem truck, meeting customers and loading and unloading petroleum products.
The position will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and its features while delivering hazardous petroleum products to customers, general maintenance on fuel trucks, filling out electronic daily logs, completing pre‑trip inspections, and reporting any discrepancies directly to the Agribusiness Manager. The Petroleum Driver will also be expected to communicate sales and promotion programs to customers, maintain a professional representation of South Country Co‑op, and adhere to South Country Co‑op’s safety policies.
