We’re seeking a friendly, motivated Pet Grooming Assistant to join our warm, boutique salon. No prior experience required—just a love for animals, a willingness to learn, and a positive team spirit. This role supports our senior pet stylists with fundamental grooming tasks, shop upkeep, and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for every pet.

Full‑Time Pet Grooming Assistant

Salary: $1,600 – $2,300 per month (depending on experience)
Complies with MOM requirements (annual leave, sick leave, etc.)
10% staff discount on retail products
20% staff discount on grooming services

Part‑Time Pet Grooming Assistant

Salary: $9 – $11 per hour
Minimum Commitment: 2 working days per week
Benefits: Enjoy the same staff discounts and pet spa perks as full‑time staff

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with basic grooming care for pets, including bathing, shampooing, conditioning
• Drying / blow‑drying fur
• Brushing and combing
• Nail clipping, ear cleaning, basic hygienic trims
• Workplace safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of the salon
• Ensure pet safety throughout the grooming process
• Shop maintenance / cleaning: kennels/pens, grooming tools, workstations, floors, etc.
• Operational support: maintain grooming equipment, stock inventory, handle laundry, etc.

Role Requirements

• Exceptional patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals to thrive in a boutique, pet‑centered environment
• Willingness to learn and grow within the grooming field
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable handling animals and recognizing signs of distress or health issues to flag to senior staff
