Job summary

Pet Valu in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to help Pet Parents find the right products and provide outstanding service. You will join a team of Pet Experts, contributing to a welcoming store environment and reliable daily operations.

The role includes cash register duties, stock replenishment, light merchandising, and assisting with deliveries. Weekend and evening availability is preferred; training and staff discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is required.
• Working knowledge of POS systems is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales duties.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
• Placing small items (under 10 lbs) into stock in the sales area.
• Sweeping, dusting and general store maintenance.
