Job Details

Reporting to the Branch Manager, The Pest Technician will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections to a variety of business including residential homes. They identify pest problems, choose an effective approach to eradicate pests and provide recommendations to prevent future infestation. You will also be required to build new business through sales.

Job Description
  • Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
  • Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
  • Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
  • Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
  • Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site

Requirements
  • A Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Customer service experience
  • Willingness to obtain your Pesticide Applicator's License
  • Sales experience an asset
