Precision Well Servicing is currently hiring an Personnel Coordinator to join our team. This is a permanent, Full-Time position. This is an office based position and work is performed on-site. For the right candidate this position can be out of our office in Brooks or Red Deer.

Personnel coordinators are responsible for planning, organizing and scheduling field personnel to ensure that the labour requirements and needs are met in a timely manner. Personnel Coordinators work closely with Operations Management to ensure crews are designed to meet the needs of the customer and location/type of well.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure documentation for workforce planning is completed and record keeping is maintained in accordance with HSE, Transportation, and Legislative requirements
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety through a personal focus on safety and the integration of safety in every task.
  • Collaborate with operations management regarding crewing needs and ensuring proper certification requirements are met.
  • Provide day to day support to field operations on training, records, compliance etc.
  • The provision of self-leadership, which is the commitment by an individual to always comply with PWS policy and procedures in all tasks in the workplace. This includes the self-discipline to so the right thing, every-time.
  • Anticipate field workplace requirements and provide regular updates on workforce planning progress.
  • Gear incoming hires and ensure they are ready to be placed in the field.
  • Monitor new hire PPE and order stock as needed.
  • Track new hire PPE inventory and update monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Prepare and maintain crew lists and provide to operations management when requested, or required.
  • Schedule crews and re-assign employees as needed daily to ensure rigs are fully staffed.
  • Remain proactive and consistent when communicating with all field personnel, ensuring employee’s availability is in-line with current and upcoming work.
  • Ongoing review of required course expiry dates
  • Build relationships with other Personnel Coordinators to ensure crews are managed across all service rigs, and provide support on days off
  • Work with other functional groups such as sales when requested, for the purposes of acquiring work.
  • Maintain databases and systems ensuring employee data is keep current and accurate.
  • Update Operational activity report at least weekly with accurate crew status information.
  • Create purchase orders and code invoicing as required.
  • Support the facilitation and administration of HR objectives.
  • Support and coach operations leadership in the tracking and documentation of performance concerns, and elevate when needed.
  • Assist Field staff with work related inquires.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • 3-5 years of professionally developed administrative experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Oil and Gas Industry experience (office or field) considered a significant asset.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Exceptional prioritization & organizational skills with an ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must be willing to work varying or extended hours as needed, and be accountable to the needs of the business at all times by phone, email, or in person
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
