A regional health sciences center in Ontario is seeking a Personal Support Worker to assist with patient care in a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should hold the required Personal Support Worker and HealthCare Aide certificates, and possess strong customer service and organizational skills. The role involves adhering to a culture of safety and equity while delivering quality care. Salary ranges from $29.286 to $29.930 per hour.
Reporting to the Manager of Surgical Services, the Personal Support Worker performs a variety of tasks that enhance the overall functioning of the nursing unit and the delivery of patient care. As part of a multidisciplinary health care team, you will practice within the Philosophy of patient and family centered care, mission vision, values and the policies of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Salary Range: $29.286 to $29.930
The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety and security of the patients, visitors, employees and assets financial and otherwise. Candidates will have demonstrated adherence to the Hospital's Code of Conduct. Regular attendance at work is imperative, therefore, all applicants will have to demonstrate a good attendance record to be considered for this position.
