Extendicare is seeking a part-time PSW/HCA/CCA to provide direct personal support and care in a Canadian long-term care setting. The role involves assisting residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing and grooming, while upholding care plans and following policies.

Strong English communication and ability to work in community home care are essential. Salary ranges from $26.35 to $29.03 per hour under the CLAC collective agreement, with total rewards and benefits described in our process.

Qualifications

• Completed PSW certification meeting required standards.
• Experience in long-term care or community home care preferred.
• Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation.
• Ability to read/write English and follow English instructions.
• Ability to work independently in community home care is an asset.

Job DescriptionThe PSW/HCA/CCA provides direct personal support and care to patients to fulfil the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients in accordance to polices, procedure and work routines.
