Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker to assist in monitoring resident care and documenting information according to the established plan. You will participate in training sessions and help onboard new staff, while adhering to IPAC policies.

Qualified candidates hold a PSW certificate/diploma and meet Ontario ministry, NAC, and OSAT standards; knowledge of simple treatments and sanitation is required to provide bedside care for geriatric residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.

Responsibilities

Salary

Salary: $27.56 per hour

Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
