Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Burlington, Canada, is seeking Personal Support Workers to provide compassionate, resident‑centered care across independent, assisted and memory care living options.

Role includes daily living support, documentation in an electronic health record, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers onboarding, ongoing training, competitive pay, and benefits to support employees and their families.

Qualifications

• PSW Certification from a certified educational facility OR internationally educated nurse.
• Strong drive, respect and understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset, not required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• PSWs support and deliver on all personalized activities of daily living that meet our resident’s needs.
• Includes ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship and nutritional support.
