Job summary

ParaMed Inc. is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our home and community care team.

This full‑time role supports patients in their homes and community settings, assisting with activities of daily living from 7am to 4pm on weekdays with alternating weekends. You will provide compassionate care, prepare nutritious meals, assist with bathing, grooming and light housekeeping, and travel within a geographic area to reach patients.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Personal Support Worker certificate.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliability and flexibility in scheduling and duties.
• Passion for making a difference in the community.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle to travel to patients’ residences within a geographic area.
• Must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting and peri‑care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets as determined by the care plan.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks and provide companionship to improve quality of life.

Compensation
