Job summary

Amica The Glebe in Ottawa is seeking a Personal Support Worker on a part-time basis to provide compassionate care for residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping and dining support, while building trusting relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized Personal Support Worker program.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program or internationally certified nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and support to seniors in a living setting.
• Assist with light housekeeping, engagement activities and dining support.
• Build relationships with residents and provide personalized interactions.

What you will bring:

• Willingness to learn and apply your learning on the job.
• You are one of the following: a graduate from a recognized Personal Support Worker program, currently enrolled in a nursing program or an internationally certified nurse.
