Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to support patients in their homes and community settings. You will help with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and personal care, while promoting independence and comfort for each patient.

You will accompany patients through meal preparation, light housekeeping, and social interaction to enhance quality of life, traveling within the designated geographic area using a company vehicle where

Qualifications

• Valid Personal Support Worker certificate is required.
• Demonstrated compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliability and flexibility are essential for this role.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access to travel to patient residences within a geographic area.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care, bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to care plans.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to improve quality of life.
