We are seeking PSWs for LTC in the Bradford/Newmarket/Georgina areas to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings and every other weekend. We are seeking casual individuals who are available to pick up shifts as needed.

• Competitive pay at $21-$24/hr based on experience

• 4% Vacation Pay on every pay

• 4 hour shift minimum

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care


• Utilize lifts in the home to transfer clients


• Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support


• Provide behavioural support and crisis intervention


• Maintaining open communication with client and their family


• Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates


• Responding to all emergency situations


• All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• PSW certification is required


• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate


• Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months


• CPI training is an asset


• Driver's License and own insured vehicle


• Satisfactory professional references


• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions


• Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
