Job summary

AgeCare seeks a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care in our Alberta communities. You will assist with daily tasks according to care plans, observe residents, and report findings to your supervisor.

You will also document resident information, participate in ongoing education, and help onboard new staff. Compliance with IPAC policies is essential to ensure a safe environment for residents, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meets vocational standards set by governing bodies.
• Knowledge of sanitation and geriatric care needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors care given to residents according to the care plan and reports findings.
• Documents information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attends in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Supports onboarding of new staff and follows IPAC policies.
