Job summary

Caressant-Care Nursing And Retirement Homes Limited is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (Long Term Care) to join our Ontario team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on compassionate resident care, daily living assistance, and support within our long-term care facilities.

Applicants should have a PSW certificate, be able to follow directions, and manage physical and emotional demands. English literacy, punctuality, and reliability are essential; LTC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate of a Personal Support Worker program meeting the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act requirements.
• Willingness to accept verbal and/or written direction.
• Ability to cope with physical and emotional demands of the position.
• Geriatric LTC experience is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills; read/write in English.
• Punctual and reliable.

What you bring…

The starting rate of pay is $26.96 per hour, and the terms and conditions are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
