Qualifications

• At least 7 months of experience in assisted living, senior care, or hospice care.
• Strong patient care skills and compassionate demeanor.
• Familiarity with medication administration and basic nursing procedures.
• Able to work with individuals with disabilities or dementia.
• Excellent communication skills and empathetic approach.
• Driver’s license is required and First Aid certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized patient care, including ADL assistance (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences; Chinese cuisine preferred.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Support clients with dementia or disabilities using caregiver techniques.
• Monitor health status and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and safe lifting as needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.

This role involves working closely with employer who can cook Chinese food, do lite cleaning housework, run errands, grocery shopping, pharmacy for the employer.
