Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate in-home and community care in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. The role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, maintaining safety, and following a documented care plan under supervision.

Applicants should have completed an accredited PSW program and at least one year of relevant experience. Training and orientation are provided, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Personal Support Worker Program.
• At least one year of recent personal care experience in a similar position or life experience with similar duties.
• Infection prevention practices knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services according to the care plan, ensuring emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety.
• Deliver care within the provincial scope of practice for PSWs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Observe and document client conditions and report changes to the Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Bayshore policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing continuing education activities.
