Yee Hong in Scarborough/Markham area is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate personal care and support to residents. The role emphasizes resident-centred care, safety, and collaboration within a caring team.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an approved Ontario PSW program, hold CPR certification, and demonstrate strong customer service and time-management skills. Bilingual abilities (Chinese) are considered an asset, with opportunities for ongoing development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved PSW course in Ontario or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
• Demonstrated resident-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a positive team.
• Basic computer literacy; familiarity with PointClickCare and MS Office; Workday is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to assist clients with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Support residents' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe, resident-centred environment.
