Job summary

AgeCare Glen Oaks is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide resident care per care plans in an on-site setting. You will assist in monitoring and documenting care, participate in training sessions, and help onboard new staff while following IPAC policies.

This permanent, part-time position values compassion, reliability, and teamwork. Qualifications include a PSW certificate/diploma and meeting Ontario standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning and geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring care according to the plan of care.
• Documents care information as directed.
• Attends in-service education, staff meetings and workshops.
• Follows IPAC policies and procedures.
