Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join the home and community care team in Red Lake, Balmertown and Ear Falls, Ontario. You will support patients in their homes and community settings by aiding daily living activities and promoting independence.

You bring a PSW certificate, compassion, reliability, and flexibility, plus a valid driver license and vehicle access to travel within the service area. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate required or equivalent
• Demonstrated compassion and caring when interacting with patients
• Reliable and flexible to adapt to patient needs

Responsibilities

Job Description $1,000 Signing Bonus for this part-time position located in Red Lake, Balmertown and Ear Falls, Ontario! As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) you will be an integral part of the home and community care team. You will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community settings by assisting with activities of daily living.

What you’ll do:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life
