Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to assist clients in their homes and communities in Ontario. You will help with daily living activities, meals, and light housekeeping, providing compassionate, respectful support to enhance daily living.

Applicants must hold a PSW certificate, have a valid driver’s license and vehicle, and pass a Vulnerable Sector Screen. Bilingual Chinese skills are a plus for many clients.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate is required to perform duties.
• Demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Be reliable and flexible to support patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, skin, hair and oral care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping and companionship to enhance quality of life.
