Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Ontario Hawkesbury is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker to provide home and community health care services.

You will work days and evenings, every 2nd weekend, with top wages and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans. A PSW diploma is required, with English fluency; French may be needed for some Quebec-area roles; a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

  • Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required).
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French is a service requirement.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home and community health care services with compassion and excellence.
  • Create meaningful moments for clients daily while providing exceptional care.
  • Document care activities using mobile devices and maintain accurate records.

Hourly Wage

$23.64 to $24.86 per hour. Mileage reimbursement (0.62/km), Travel Policy to be reviewed at orientation

Education
  • Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:

  • 2 supervisory references,
  • A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
